Exit points in RS

Access to the transmission gas pipeline network means the use of the transmission gas network for consumption of an agreed quantity of gas in an agreed period. The consumer or access applicant exercises his right to access and ensures the use of the transmission capacity by concluding a Transmission Agreement.

In accordance with the Rules on the procedure for the allocation of transmission system capacities for entry and exit points in the Republic of Slovenia (Official Gazette of RS, No. 152/20) (legally unbinding translation), a Network User shall, prior to the first transmission agreement, send a dully completed and signed Statement, that they accept the General terms and conditions of the transmission agreement.

A sample procedure for booking transmission capacity with Transmission Agreement:

  • An applicant submits a Request for access to the Transmission System Operator.
  • Transmission System Operator performs the allocation of transmission capacity, in accordance with technical limitations of the transmission system.
  • An applicant and Transmission System Operator conclude Transmission Agreement.

The Transmission System Operator may deny an applicant’s Request for transmission in cases stipulated by the Energy Act and regulations.
