The future European hydrogen transmission network operators (HTNOs), including Plinovodi d.o.o., have taken an important step towards strengthening a European hydrogen transportation network. By founding the temporary, voluntary Pre-ENNOH initiative, key preparatory activities for the future ENNOH (European Network of Network Operators for Hydrogen) will be carried out throughout 2025. Pre-ENNOH will, over the coming year develop preparatory works needed for ENNOH to fulfil the regulatory tasks allocated by the Hydrogen and Decarbonised Gas Market Package.
A newly appointed management structure, comprising a President, a Director, and Board members will steer the preparatory projects, guide the development of legislative proposals, and shape the operational approaches needed for ENNOH to function efficiently.
By taking this step, future HTNO’s will contribute to the growth of a competitive, low-carbon energy market and establish a solid foundation for sustainable and successful launch of renewable hydrogen within Europe.
